ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—A Philadelphia man, Gregg Page, 34, faces charges of murder and attempted murder following an early morning shooting on August 1, 2024, that left one woman dead and another severely injured in Atlantic City, NJ. The incident, involving two female victims, occurred near Main and the Boardwalk at approximately 4:41 a.m.
The deceased, identified as Carley Elbert, 32, from Sewell, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head and pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, Kamille Stewart, 29, from Pleasantville, sustained multiple wounds and was transported to AtlantiCare Medical Center for treatment.
In connection with the shooting, two other individuals from Philadelphia, Ryan Schenck, 30, and Ramir Schenck, 27—brothers—were charged with hindering apprehension.
The three suspects were apprehended in Philadelphia on the day of the incident and are currently held pending extradition to New Jersey.
The ongoing investigation is a collaborative effort involving the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit, the Atlantic City Police Department, the Philadelphia Police Department, and the FBI’s Philadelphia Office.
