PHILADELPHIA, PA – A serious accident involving a Jeep Cherokee, a tractor-trailer, and a pedestrian occurred early Thursday morning on the 6800 block of Bustleton Avenue. At about 12:45 AM, the Jeep, driven westbound on Harbison Avenue, veered into a 7-11 parking lot following the driver’s medical emergency.
The Jeep initially collided with a parked tractor-trailer making deliveries, then continued to strike a 34-year-old male pedestrian standing in front of the store.
The vehicle ultimately crashed into the 7-11, causing substantial damage to the storefront.
Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition. A
License & Inspections inspector was present at the scene, and the Crash Investigation Division is currently conducting a detailed investigation of the incident.
