JUPITER, FL – Disturbing developments have emerged in the case of Michael Martin Wiseman, a 68-year-old Florida resident, who has been charged with making electronic threats to kill former President Donald Trump and Ohio Senator JD Vance.
The charges, revealed through court documentsfrom the Jupiter Police Department, paint a grim picture of the threats issued just days after a failed assassination attempt on Trump.
Wiseman’s alleged threats were first hinted at in less descriptive Palm Beach County Jail records but have since been detailed in the police affidavit.
According to the document, Wiseman made multiple violent posts on Facebook, including one that placed Trump’s face in the crosshairs of a sniper scope and another advocating harm against the daughters of Trump and Vance.
The investigation into Wiseman began following multiple online crime tips and local concerns expressed about his behavior. Additional Facebook posts by Wiseman praised the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt on Trump and encouraged similar actions.
The affidavit includes several of Wiseman’s posts, which are now part of the criminal allegations against him.
Law enforcement continues to investigate, emphasizing the serious nature of the threats and the ongoing risks they pose.
