ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Early this morning, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, in partnership with the Atlantic City Police Department, AtlantiCare, and Jewish Family Services, embarked on a mission to support and provide services to those in need along the Atlantic City boardwalk and beach.
Starting at 6 AM, the collaborative teams fanned out across the area, engaging with numerous encampments and individuals.
Each person encountered was offered a range of services, including identification assistance, food, shelter, clothing, addiction recovery, mental health services, employment opportunities, or simply a helping hand.
This initiative highlights the ongoing commitment of local agencies to address the needs of at-risk individuals in the community, ensuring they have access to essential resources and support.
