BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – The second day of the Brick Township Police Department Summer Youth Camp offered campers an exciting blend of physical training and hands-on learning experiences.
The event, detailed in a recent update from the department’s social media, showcased a day full of activity and educational opportunities.
Campers began their day with rigorous physical training before visiting the United States Coast Guard Station at Manasquan Inlet. At the station, they were introduced to law enforcement and safety procedures by the Coast Guard, providing them with a real-world glimpse into the lives of maritime law enforcement professionals.
The afternoon was filled with marine adventures at Traders Cove Marina.
Here, the young participants joined the Brick Township Police Marine Unit and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Marine Unit for a maritime journey, enhancing their understanding of marine operations. The department celebrated the success of the day, emphasizing the educational and adventurous experiences provided to the campers.
