MANASSAS, VA—The last suspect in an armed robbery that occurred on April 1 in Manassas has been apprehended. Fatima Cruz Cruz, 24, from Woodbridge, was arrested on July 27, concluding the search for individuals involved in the crime reported in the 7800 block of Brookview Court.
This arrest follows the earlier capture of two male suspects, Jose Luis Gomez Ochoa and Jordy Antonio Baires-Bonilla, who were linked to the same incident. The case unfolded when a 17-year-old male was assaulted and rendered unconscious during a meeting with Cruz and the two men, resulting in the theft of his vehicle.
Cruz faces charges of robbery and carjacking. Her court date is pending, and details regarding her bond are currently unavailable. The earlier phase of the investigation had successfully recovered some stolen items and led to the arrests of the other involved parties with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
