COLUMBUS, OH – A shooting incident in the Brewery District of Columbus resulted in at least one person injured on Friday night. Police responded to the scene at the intersection of South Wall Street and West Beck Street following reports of gunshots at approximately 9:09 p.m.
The area, including a parking lot adjacent to Tony’s Italian Ristorante, was quickly cordoned off with multiple officers on site. Caution tape was used to block access to another parking lot across West Beck Street as well.
According to dispatch reports, one individual was transported to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound and was listed in stable condition.
As of 10:30 p.m., police had not released further details regarding the cause of the shooting, any additional victims, or information on a potential suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.
