TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River Mayor Dan Rodrick and the Toms River Township Council hosted a spectacular evening at Shelter Cove on Wednesday, transforming the picturesque bayfront into a vibrant hub of music and celebration. Approximately 1,000 attendees gathered to witness the electrifying performance by Garden State Radio, a band renowned for their dynamic stage presence and wide-ranging repertoire of hits.
The night was a resounding success, combining good music, good vibes, and community spirit in what is fast becoming one of Toms River’s most anticipated weekly events. The parking lots at Shelter Cove were packed and a free shuttle bus service transprted guests from nearby Toms River High School East to the bayfront venue.
Garden State Radio did not disappoint, delivering an exhilarating show that had the crowd on their feet from the first chord to the final encore. Known for their high-energy performances and seamless blend of contemporary hits and classic favorites, the band captivated the audience with their infectious enthusiasm and polished musical talent.
Lead vocalist Lisa Barone, along with her bandmates, created an engaging atmosphere, inviting the crowd to sing along and dance under the open sky. Their set list included popular songs from artists like Lady Gaga, Bon Jovi, and Bruno Mars, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
