Evesham Township, NJ – On July 23rd, Evesham Township Police Chief Walt Miller presented Police Dispatcher Jenica Gravano with a Certificate of Merit in recognition of her exemplary performance during three critical incidents on June 16th, 2024.
Dispatcher Gravano played a pivotal role in coordinating responses to a series of emergencies in Evesham Township. Her professionalism and skill were instrumental during a day that included a premature labor emergency, a dwelling fire with a man trapped inside who was ultimately rescued, and a domestic dispute that escalated into a shooting, leading to a 6-hour standoff.
Chief Miller emphasized the importance of the strong working relationship between police dispatchers and patrol officers, which is crucial for the successful resolution of any call for service. The Evesham Police Department expressed its pride in working alongside Dispatcher Gravano, whose efforts have significantly contributed to the community’s safety and wellbeing.
