BALTIMORE, MD — Authorities have arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting of 12-year-old Breaunna Cormley in the Southeast District.
On July 19, at approximately 8:01 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of North Kenwood Avenue following a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a 12-year-old female suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Despite officers and medics administering CPR, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives identified 28-year-old Omar Passmore of Baltimore as the suspect. On July 21, Passmore was located and arrested by Baltimore County officers. He will be transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with first-degree murder.
