WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Wall Township Police Department reported a series of arrests from July 15 to July 21, 2024, including multiple cases of shoplifting and drug-related offenses.
Monday, July 15, 2024: Whilemina Wilson, 51, of Brick, was arrested for shoplifting at Shop Rite, 1732 State Highway 35 by Patrolman Wayne Jackson. She was processed and released on a summons.
Tuesday, July 16, 2024: Donald P. Baehny, 75, of Jackson, was arrested on an outstanding warrant by the same officer and was transferred to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Wednesday, July 17, 2024: Patrolman Ken Bala arrested Haroun Khan, 38, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Roshawn L. Junior, 51, of Wall Township, during a traffic stop on State Highway 33/34. Khan, with two active warrants and drug paraphernalia, and Junior, found with heroin and paraphernalia, faced different legal actions; Khan was detained while Junior was released on a summons.
Also on Wednesday: Detective Tyler Driscoll apprehended Angel L. Negron, 41, of Seaside Heights, who had several outstanding warrants. He was transferred to the county correctional facility.
Thursday, July 18, 2024: Patrolman T.J. Powers arrested Kelly F. Bennett, 27, of Farmingdale, on an active warrant, and she was subsequently transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Facility.
Friday, July 19, 2024: Nicole M. Surko, 38, of Toms River, was arrested by Patrolman Mark Daugherty on a warrant issued by the Wall Township Municipal Court and was transferred to the county correctional facility.
Also on Friday: Patrolman John Kelly handled the arrest of John T. McGrath, 44, of Wall Township, at the Wall Promenade, 1919 State Highway 35. McGrath, wanted on several warrants, was handed over to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department.
Saturday, July 20, 2024: Kyle Sommers, 29, of Wall Township, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a welfare check at 2510 Belmar Blvd. He was processed and released according to John’s Law.
Sunday, July 21, 2024: Two DWI-related incidents led to arrests by Wall Township Police. Patrolman Joe Phillips arrested William C. Wright, 34, of Philadelphia, who was found with psilocybin mushrooms and driving while intoxicated at Shark River Park. Patrolman Alfredo Flores arrested Julian J. Spilatro, 25, of Staten Island, NY, following a motor vehicle accident at the Manasquan Circle. Both individuals were processed and released according to John’s Law.
The Wall Township Police Department emphasizes that all individuals listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
