BOSTON, MA — On Saturday, July 20, Omar Credle, 55, of Boston, was arrested by officers from the Boston Police Department’s District D-4 for drug trafficking.
While patrolling Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard, a hotspot for quality of life concerns, officers noticed Credle with a visible plastic bag containing a white substance. Upon approaching and searching Credle, police found two large bags, each containing smaller packages of a rock-like substance confirmed to be crack cocaine, totaling approximately 20 grams. Further search led to the discovery of heroin and a prescription pill.
Credle now faces charges related to drug trafficking as the investigation continues.
