WASHINGTON, DC—A recent theft at a retail store in the 1000 block of F Street has prompted a citywide search for the individuals involved. The incident, which unfolded around 4:14 p.m. on Tuesday, saw suspects enter the store, steal various items, and exit without making any payment.
Surveillance footage from the store captured one of the suspects, and law enforcement is now sharing this image in an effort to identify them.
The police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the theft to contact them at (202) 727-9099 or via the department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. They urge witnesses to avoid direct confrontation.
