EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Egg Harbor Township Police Department is intensifying efforts to locate 47-year-old Ramon Marrero, a missing man under special care due to a past brain injury. Marrero, described as a white male about 5’10” tall, was last confirmed to be in Philadelphia on July 11th, when he attempted to purchase a restaurant around 5 p.m.
Earlier that day, Marrero had boarded a bus to Philadelphia from a terminal in Atlantic City, with surveillance footage capturing his departure. He is originally from Worcester, Massachusetts, and was visiting the area with his mother, his primary caregiver. At the time of his disappearance, he wore a red tank top and dark-colored shorts and was noted to have less hair than previously pictured.
Authorities urge anyone who may have seen Marrero or has any information on his whereabouts to contact the Egg Harbor Township Police Department at 609-927-5200 immediately. The family and police are concerned for his well-being and safety.
