Philadelphia, PA – On Monday, a shooting occurred at approximately 6:02 p.m. on the highway at 2xx S 54th Street in the 18th District. The victim, a white male approximately 25-30 years old, identified as “John Doe,” was shot once in the chest.
Police transported the victim to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. The scene is currently being held, with no weapons recovered and no arrests made at this time. The Homicide Unit is conducting an ongoing investigation.
