BRONX, NY – A tragic stabbing incident in the Bronx has resulted in the death of a 34-year-old man and left another injured.
The NYPD responded to a 911 call concerning a stabbing involving two males on Sunday at approximately 3:31 p.m. near 2155 Grand Concourse, within the 46 Precinct. Officers arrived to find Richard Vasquez, aged 34, with a stab wound to the chest, and a 31-year-old male with a stab wound to his torso.
Both victims were transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital. Vasquez, who lived at 2070 Grand Concourse, was later pronounced deceased. The second victim’s condition and further details have not been disclosed as the investigation continues.
