NEWARK, NJ — The Newark Department of Public Safety is seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in a recent package theft. The incident occurred on the morning of June 14, at around 10:10 a.m., on the 80 block of Boylan Avenue.
Captured by surveillance footage, the female suspect is seen stealing a package from the front steps of a residence. She is described as wearing a black T-shirt, purple compression shorts, and neon green sneakers at the time of the theft.
Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé has called on anyone with information about the identity of the suspect to come forward. Director Fragé emphasizes the importance of community involvement in preventing and solving crimes and hopes that public input will lead to a swift resolution in this case.
