The recent win came from the July 5 drawing, where he successfully matched a friend’s birthday numbers on a $1 straight bet ticket.
Back in June of 2022, he won the same amount, but that time it was through two 50-cent tickets, each bringing in $25,000. His latest victory at the Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore was greeted with a familiar sense of calm. “Just put, ‘AA County Man strikes again!’” he exclaimed on July 11 after claiming his prize. His belief in the possibility of winning remains strong: “As long as I got faith and belief! I realize every draw can win,” he stated.
While he acknowledges the unpredictable nature of lottery draws, his strategy has certainly paid off twice now. Despite his excitement, his plans for the winnings are quite straightforward: he intends to save the money, maintaining a low profile about his windfall.
The Safeway grocery store at 1781 Forest Drive in Annapolis, where the winning ticket was purchased, will receive a $500 bonus for selling the ticket.
